Skills and Artifacts are now in Ko
You can now run Skills and build Artifacts in Ko.
- Skills are pre-built instructions that run a repeatable Ko workflow whenever you call them.
- Artifacts are formatted outputs Ko creates from your requests. They're saved outside the chat so you can revisit and share them.
Note: Ko currently has two Modo Energy-authored skills (as of August 14, 2026). Our team is working on adding additional Modo Energy skills, a build-your-own-skills feature, and PDF export for Artifacts.
Why it's useful
Skills and Artifacts make your workflows smoother. You can now:
- Run repeatable analyses without rewriting the instructions in Ko each time.
- Turn your Ko analyses into reports ready to share with your board or IC.
- Share Artifacts with your team.
How to use Skills and view Artifacts
- Type
/or click 'Skills' in Ko to see the available skills. - Type in your instructions.
- Click 'View artifact' to open the report Ko builds.
- Open the Artifacts tab in the left sidebar to see all your Artifacts.
