​The new ME BESS DE benchmark gives one of Europe's fastest-growing BESS markets a transparent way to track what assets are earning. A simulated asset, cross-optimised across day-ahead, intraday, FCR, and aFRR every day, refreshed daily with live German market prices.

Three free indices — 1h, 2h, and 4h — are now live. ME BESS DE (2H) currently tracks at 218 k€/MW/yr equivalent for April 2026.

On the Terminal you can also build a virtual asset to match your own. Shape its duration, efficiency, cycling, and market participation, and the benchmark becomes a direct reference for your asset — usable for optimiser benchmarking, liquidated damages settlement, and index-linked PPA pricing.
