The old certainties are gone
A decade ago, most of the hard questions in power were settled.
Subsidies were fixed. Market rules were in place. Lenders knew the numbers. Solar, wind and gas didn't need a new kind of model.
That world is disappearing.

Valuing batteries meant modelling the whole power system
We started with batteries because they were the hardest asset on the grid to value. A battery charges, discharges and stacks a dozen revenue streams at once. Ten years ago, nobody knew how to value one, or how to bank one. We worked it out.
Getting it right meant accounting for every generator, every hour of demand, every market design and every weather year.
