Battery energy storage systems in Great Britain earned £55k/MW/year in July 2025, a 27% reduction from June. This marks the lowest revenue level since November 2024, as lower wind and solar generation squeezed wholesale price spreads.

Battery revenues saw a £21k/MW/year reduction from June. This is the steepest decline in 2025 and the lowest revenues since November 2024.
