Who are the Italian optimisers and how to find them

Who are the Italian optimisers and how to find them

Italy is one of Europe's fastest-growing storage markets. Batteries now trade across the day-ahead, the intraday markets, and Terna's centrally dispatched balancing market.

The choice of optimiser shapes how much of that value an asset actually captures.

At Modo Energy, we have prepared a list of market participants offering third-party representation and optimisation services for battery storage in Italy.

You offer battery trading and are not on the list? Please get in touch with timothee@modoenergy.com including the main point of contact at your company and a summary of your optimisation offering, and we’ll be happy to include you.

For what a battery can earn across those markets, see our Italian BESS revenue benchmark and its methodology.

Optimisers and Route-to-market providers

Axpo
