We’re delighted to announce that Alex Done has been promoted to Head of Research at Modo. Alex will lead and grow Modo’s research team - a key arm of the business as we double down on data-led analytics and innovation in the energy transition.
“The potential applications for data analytics in the energy industry are stratospheric, and against the backdrop of the energy transition it’s absolutely vital. I’m thrilled to be heading up the research team as it grows over the next year, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and delivering truly novel insight to the GB Flexibility space.
Alex started his career at Aurora Energy Research before joining Modo in 2019. Since then, he’s built Modo’s asset intelligence capabilities and challenged pretty much every assumption in the industry. Alex will build out a world-class research and analytics team to deliver Modo’s strategy. Alex holds a first-class bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Leeds and a master’s degree in Mathematics and Finance from Imperial College London.
