Ofgem minded-to award 7.6GW of long duration energy storage cap-and-floor contracts
​Ofgem has published its minded-to decision for Great Britain's first Long Duration Electricity Storage (LDES) Cap and Floor scheme. In this initial LDES round, known as Window 1, from 73 eligible projects, Ofgem is minded-to award contracts to 16, totalling 7.6 GW and 136.9 GWh.
