October 2026 Germany BESS forecast update: higher near-term gas slightly lifts 2-hour revenues for smaller assets

​Modo Energy's October 2026 release for Germany is out. The German intraday model has been upgraded to be liquidity- and size-aware, so large assets earn proportionally less than small ones, a shift that also lets us model grid operators' new schedule freezes. A new high scenario adds a policy risk too: TSOs are floating ancillary caps as low as 20% for new assets, against 50% today.
