ERCOT October 2026 BESS benchmark: spreads fall to $62/MWh; August settles at $2.53/kW-month

Real-Time TB1 spreads in ERCOT averaged $62/MWh in October, 22% below September and 12% below October 2025. Day-Ahead TB1 spreads fell 16% year-over-year to $51/MWh.

August, the latest month with settled revenues, was the strongest month since April. Average battery revenues reached $2.53/kW-month, 78% above July and 12% above August 2025.
