Battery revenues increase by 20% in June 2025

In June 2025, battery energy storage systems in Great Britain earned £76k/MW/year - the first rise in revenues in three months.

Batteries earned 53% of their revenues from wholesale trading and the Balancing Mechanism. This figure has only been higher once before, in October 2024.
