NEM battery adjusted capture rates — 13 March 2026
This article presents Modo Energy's weekly adjusted capture rate analysis for batteries operating in Australia's National Electricity Market (NEM). The adjusted capture rate measures how effectively each battery captures available revenue, accounting for Marginal Loss Factors (MLFs), network constraints, contract positions, and asset availability. All data is available for download by clicking the button at the bottom of the charts.
State capture rate overview
Capacity-weighted capture rates by state, showing the breakdown between actual revenue earned and potential revenue lost to constraints, MLFs, contracts and availability. Values are expressed in $k/MW to allow comparison across assets of different sizes.

Adjusted capture rates for each individual battery, ranked from lowest to highest. Toggle between the past week and the past three months to compare short-term performance against the quarterly trend.
